In the past 30 days, of the 550 products that graced Amazon's ($AMZN) top-100 sellers for its "Tools & Home Improvement" category, 249, or 45%, were face masks.

Amazon recently lifted restrictions on the sale of face masks to the general public. After supply concerns and opportunistic sellers created scarcity and price gouging conditions for face masks, paired with concern over shortages of personal protective equipment for hospital workers, Amazon limited the sale of face masks to medical professionals. 

But that restriction was lifted, and Amazon shopping flocked to put masks in their shopping carts. 

Every day, Amazon published a top-100 sales-rank list for each of its 30-odd categories. In the past 30 days, 550 unique items have been on that daily list. Of those 550, 249 were face masks of some sort.

The top-20 of those are included below along with the average sales rank in the past 30 days along with the number of days it hit the best-seller list.
