Since going public this past April, music streaming service Spotify ($SPOT) has become one of the most closely watched tech companies.

It comes as no surprise, then, that the platform’s parent company, Spotify Technology SA, is rallying to improve its appeal to investors by reshuffling its business strategy among its international markets. For example: the company currently lists hundreds of job openings across its four offices in Stockholm, New York, London and Tokyo, with its NYC location boasting a healthy 71 positions for hire.

The uptick in job listings comes just three months after Spotify’s much-talked-about initial public offering this year. It’s important to note that the company did not initially issue new shares, skipping the traditional initial public offering Wall Street has become accustomed to. Instead, the Swedish startup opting for a direct listing, in which existing private stockholders had the option to sell their shares.

It’s also interesting to note that the software engineering job listings are mainly split between New York and Stockholm, Spotify’s two largest offices and their respective markets. On the other hand, the business side appears to be hiring across all office locations.

Spotify’s public debut has not gone on without whispers of its major operational losses over the years. Like Snap Inc. (NYSE:SNAP), Spotify has suffered from the ol’ scale-and-hyper growth hamster wheel that VC-backed startups are known to be plagued with. For example, while the company’s overall revenue came in at an impressive nearly $5 billion in 2017, a 39 percent increase from the previous year, Spotify still posted major operational losses. Its losses in 2017 were $1.5 billion, nearly double the amount of 2016’s losses.

With a focus on hiring for sales and software, it seems Spotify has its strategy clearly set.
