Make no mistake: The world is racing toward a future dominated by electric vehicles.

But we rarely stop to ponder the sharing infrastructure that will be necessary to assure that drivers will be able to get from point A to point B.

In the '40s and '50s, the gas station became a travel checkpoint, a place we refueled, recharged, and refreshed. Now Tesla is installing chargers in the parking lots of retail chains (the stores are happy to have people stop and shop, of course), rest stops, and more.
