Santa a busy dude. Not only is he charged with decking out Christmas trees with presents for the whole family, but he also has to think about stocking stuffers, those little gifts that didn't make their way to the main event.

Stocking stuffers tend to be the smaller, less-expensive items: afterthoughts and also-nices. We took a look at Amazon ($AMZN) sales-rank data from December 22 — the last day people have to ask Santa before 2-day Prime Delivery is too late — to determine which items are most likely to appear above our fireplaces.

Here's what we found (look away, kids — you already know what you asked for anyway).

Like 2018, L.O.L. Surprise! dolls are a popular stocking stuffer in 2019, with the Surprise! Pets series in a $10 2-pack the most popular. The "Melissa & Doug Scratch Art Box of Rainbow Mini Notes", a $6.99 stocking stuffer, was the second-most popular toy in Amazon's Toys & Games category on December 22. Other fun toys include a Slime Kit for Girls, the classic Lite-Brite, and a VTech KidiBeats Drum Set that's sure to annoy grandparents by the end of Christmas morning.

About the Data:

Thinknum tracks companies using the information they post online - jobs, social and web traffic, product sales and app ratings - and creates data sets that measure factors like hiring, revenue and foot traffic. Data sets may not be fully comprehensive (they only account for what is available on the web), but they can be used to gauge performance factors like staffing and sales.
