After a four-month lull, Trump Hotels openings have jumped to 130 positions in just the last week. This comes after a low over Christmas of just 90 open positions.

Of the openings, many are in the Culinary and Housekeeping categories, along with Restaurant, Front Office, and Bar/Lounge divisions.

Here are some of the more choice positions for those looking for work. Or for those who want to work their way up the Trump ladder. Or for the rest of us who are simply curious.

Spa Butler

Among the positions are a "Spa Butler" for Trump National Doral Miami, where the lucky applicant will get to maintain some of the following responsibilities:

  • Maintains the cleanliness and order of the facility to include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, and taking out the trash.
  • Restocks all linens in locker rooms and appropriate guest areas.
  • Removes dirty laundry and collects dirty linens in guest areas and takes them to housekeeping area or laundry pick-up.
  • Cleans and sanitizes all wet areas, bathrooms, and grooming areas throughout the day.

Golf Supervisor

Perhaps you're above sanitizing wet areas, and you'd like to schmooze with golfers as a Golf Supervisor - also at Trump National Doral Miami, where you will be entrusted with the following:

You will ensure that each golf guest is provided a warm welcome and sense of genuine care when entering the golf services area just beyond the Blue Monster Shop lawn. You will ensure that each golf guest is fully aware of the golf sequence of service and provide any number of services to assist them along in the process.

Keep in mind, however, that you'll need a PGA Apprentice Level of 2 or higher and 4 years' experience in the golf business.

Champions Hostess

Do you dream of "greeting and escorting guests to tables", especially those who hang out at a Trump Hotels sports bar called "Champions"? If so, you can do so, part time, as a Champions Hostess.

You'll be the first face of Champions, so it's a good place to schmooze with some of the best in business. And when you're not meeting and greeting, you'll do the following:

  • Perform other duties as requested, such as carrying coffee and/or tea pots throughout outlet, refilling guests’ cups as requested, handling special guest requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests, management, and service associate.
  • Attend required meetings and regularly contribute to the educational and communication process.
  • Assist in inventory process, as instructed by superiors.
  • Assist in the general cleaning of the dining room, bar and public areas.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and physical condition of outlet menus; assist in editing and printing of menus.
  • Must adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to insure all laws are being followed.

Good luck, everyone!
