Today, Apple ($AAPL) announced the Apple Watch Series 4, adding a redesigned face, screen, and new health-monitoring features. It also goes on sale today and ships September 21.

So now that the Series 3 Apple Watch is slowly on the way out with price reductions, we took a look at which versions sold best at Best Buy, the largest Apple retailer outside of Apple itself. [Data available here for subscribers]

The most-popular version was the smaller 38mm watch in gold with a pink sport band with an average rank of 243.04 (out of all Best Buy products). In second was the larger, 42mm Space Gray aluminum watch with a black sport band with an average sales rank of 249.10.

It's worth noting that among the top-10 ranking Apple Watch Series 3 versions sold at Best Buy, only two included cellular service. It seems that consumers don't feel they need the data access when using an Apple Watch, or at least the majority of them don't.
